Oud (as known in the middle east) is the name of the fragrance which is produced after going through the process of distillation from the tree aquilaria agolllocha, also known as Agar wood, Eaglewood, Kalamabak, jinkoh, Aloes wood, Gaharu oil and aquilaria oil.

OUR SOURCE

The largest natural valley’s of the aqilaria tree exist in Assam, northern India, which has the best quality of agar wood in the world, and we as a seller use only the best Oud that comes to us directly and undiluted from the source, where they collect the raw materials from the valleys, and to enhance the quality only pick trees that are at least 25 years of age to make sure you are getting exactly what you have paid for

OUR METHOD

All perfumes go through a distillation process, a process where the natural products physical nature is changed and so becomes usable as fragrance, I can proudly say that the distillation used in processing this Oud is the old fashioned way of steam, using a steel cauldron kept alight with firewood, passing to you the true essence of Oud as it should be, so you can appreciate this product for what it is.

THE PROCESS

First we source the best and oldest trees and bring them to our plantation after which we cut the wood in to small pieces, once this has been done we soak the wood for a minimum period of 15 days, we then place the wood pieces in the steel cauldron where the distillation process takes place, after the distillation process has passed we produce two quality’s the super grade (distilled for the duration of 12/15 days) and the double super grade (distilled for up to 2/3 days) and can now supply to you a quality of Oud which is rarely found on today’s markets.

AVAILABILITY

Availability is an issue if you are asking for a huge amount as this is very rare wood which is hard to find, however if you do need a huge amount this can be arranged, but please be aware that this will take some time and we would need a months advance notice, and if you need this for personal use then this can be made available to you in 5-10 working days
